2024 RIHHOF Enshrinement Celebration

“One foot in the past and one foot in the future”

More than 400 attendees, a joyful mix of RI hockey royalty, former teammates, family and friends, gathered for the celebration and perpetual recognition of the outstanding hockey careers and achievements of the RI Hockey Hall of Fame’s “Class of 2024.”

Five more hockey greats, whose collective illustrious careers spanned over five decades of global and/or professional play, gave passionate acceptance speeches paying tribute to those who helped pave the way for them and inspired them to give back to the hockey community in special ways after their playing days.

Also honored was a special married couple whose advocacy helped build Rhode Island as a model for youth hockey organization and player development.

This year, the Hall once again honored the current generation of RI hockey stars – the members of the 2024 Boys’ & Girls’ All-State Hockey Teams – as well giving on stage recognition to Rhode Island’s two 2024 National Championship youth teams, the boys’ 14 & Under “RI Saints” and the 16 & Under “RI Sting”, the state’s first-ever women’s national title holders.
